# Modeling from Matched Photos

## Module Overview

Both anchors are now in place: a georeferenced 1:1 world and a matched camera. This module is where you build the site — modeling structures against the matched camera, then **verifying** the result by photomatching (rendering from the matched camera and comparing it to the original photo). It also introduces the **scale pillar**: the five-level source-reliability hierarchy that keeps your dimensions defensible.

**Shared reference page:** the [Scale Estimation](../../../techniques/1-foundation-preparation/scale-estimation.md) page carries the full scale pillar — it is woven into the sidebar flow for this module.

## The Video

[TODO: 2–3 sentence intro to the walkthrough.]

## Modeling Against the Matched Camera

[TODO: the practical loop — model a structure (e.g. the house), view it from the matched camera, compare to the reference photo, adjust dimensions/position until the silhouettes and edges line up. Reference the [Scene Management](../../../techniques/6-utility-workflows/scene-management.md) page for keeping the scene organized.]

## The Scale Pillar

[TODO: the five-level source-reliability hierarchy for scale references (from known object dimensions up to photogrammetric/point-cloud scale). Why you always state which level a given dimension rests on. Full detail on the shared Object Reconstruction reference page.]

## Photomatching: The Verification Step

[TODO: rendering from the matched camera at the original image resolution, overlaying against the source photo, and what a good vs. bad photomatch tells you. This is your proof that the model is from the right viewpoint at the right scale.]

## Knowledge Check

[TODO: 3 questions — e.g. what a photomatch verifies; what the scale pillar is and why it matters; what to do when the photomatch doesn't line up.]

## Summary

[TODO: one paragraph.]
