Description

This module establishes the first anchor: a georeferenced world at 1:1 scale. You bring satellite imagery into Blender as a real-world-accurate baseline, set the 1:1 convention (1 Blender unit = 1 meter), and — through the composed measurements and scale-estimation references — learn how to measure and establish scale defensibly on top of that baseline.

What You'll Be Able to Do

By the end of this module you will be able to:

  1. Import satellite imagery into Blender as a georeferenced baseline
  2. Establish the 1:1 convention so measurements are in real-world units
  3. Measure and check dimensions in Blender using the measurements reference
  4. Choose a scale-estimation approach from the source-reliability hierarchy
